About Three-Point
Three points of departure. One story.
Three-Point is a small machine for making small stories. You shuffle three cards — a theme, an ordinary situation, and an emotion — and it writes you a short tale, around two hundred words, that weaves the three together. Each story is yours: keep it on your shelf, copy it, or send it to someone.
How it works
Press shuffle and three words land — say Robots, A Queue, and Love. You can re-roll any single card if one doesn't sit right, or shuffle all three again. When you press Generate, the three words become the raw material for a single short story, set on cream paper like a page from a book.
More than the sum of three cards
The three cards are never quite the whole point. Each story is built around a single emotional truth and lets the three ingredients serve it, rather than simply mashing them together. That's the difference between a gimmick and something that lands: the words are the occasion, but the feeling is the reason.
